Hi, I'm Anna, the founder of Aura Speech.

My path to speech therapy started long before grad school. I watched someone I love struggle to communicate, and then watched speech therapy change their world entirely. The confidence that followed, the relief, the connection, that transformation is what led me to this field, and it's still what drives how I practice today.

I'm a licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with eight years of experience across school, home health, clinic, and tele-therapy settings. Over the years I've supported children with expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and speech sound disorders, and complex communication needs, including implementing AAC for children who needed another way to be heard. Whatever the setting or need, my approach stays the same: individualized, compassionate care built around each child and family.

Some of the work I'm proudest of happened outside a typical clinical setting. I initiated an international SLP service program in Grenada, partnering with one of my mentors to help bring it to life, screening and assessing children who'd never had access to a speech therapist before, and led parent education sessions so families could keep building on that support long after I left. That experience stuck with me because care doesn't have to look a certain way to be effective, sometimes it just means showing up, adapting to what's actually in front of you, and trusting that small steps add up.

Today, I bring all of that experience to the families I work with here in Miami and virtually. My approach is collaborative and playful, and it starts with earning a child's trust before I ask anything of them. No two children communicate the same way, so no two therapy plans should look the same either. I believe in building relationships and creating a space where children feel safe enough to be themselves.

When I'm not doing speech therapy, you can find me soaking up the sun at the beach, out and about in Brickell with my dog, Buddy (yes, he's a real-life Bluey!), practicing yoga, or planning my next trip. I love traveling the world, visiting new countries, and exploring new cultures.
